Nick Holland is a senior analyst at Aite Group, LLC
specializing in mobile banking, mobile payments, NFC technologies, as well as security and fraud issues. His recent coverage has focused on the prospect of contactless payments in the United States,
security issues in the mobile and email channel, and global wireless telecom operators' mobile banking and payment strategy.
Mr. Holland has spoken at and has chaired a variety of conferences and events, including the IFSA Annual Global Payments Conference,
Card Tech Secure Tech, Card Forum, and 3GSM. He has been widely quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, BusinessWeek, The Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times,
and American Banker, among others.
Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Holland was a senior analyst with Pyramid Research and specialized in next-generation mobile content
technologies and their business applications. Before that, he was the Director of Emerging Technologies Research at Mercator Advisory Group and focused
on emerging payment technologies and security.
Mr. Holland holds an M.Sc Degree with Distinction in Information Systems Management from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and a B.A.
(Honours) degree in Art and Design History from DeMontfort University in England. |
